Flu & Cold Prevention Tips 101

Tis’ the season as this years flu and cold season is rapidly approaching. It’s predicted this year that people in the U.S. will come down with about 50 million cases of flu and about 1 billion colds. Recent research indicates that more and more people are looking for natural ways to boost their immune system and are turning toward preventative health measures and vitamin  supplementation.

While no promises can ever be claimed with any type of supplementation, prescriptions, surgeries or treatments alike, we can take some simple “everyday preventative” measures to give our bodies immune system the very best chance to fight off and/or recovery from sickness, especially the common cold and flu.

  • Eat healthy foods– Add plenty of green leafy vegetables and citrus fruits.
